Sauerville: Building Guidelines
Sauerville

Building Guidelines

How this works

  1. Check out the map, if it's already checked out return at the listed time & click the Check Out button.
  2. Once you check out the map, download it, edit it, and save it.
  3. Return to the page before your timelimit is up & upload your changes.

As you build...

Make sure to...

  1. not build outside of one plot per session (plots are easily identified when viewing the map).
  2. include a front door
  3. remember that any yard or green space is to be included in your plot
  4. stick to generic "fantasy" style textures as much as possible (stay away from the florecent textures)
  5. Don't be overly particulary, rough out a world
  6. don't get particularly attached to any sauer-specific entities, they may go away at some point
  7. don't exceed the timelimit, prepare your creation in another map then use cut & paste to keep checkout time to a minimum

Long term plan

... is to give the best builders larger plots and non-house structures to supervise & subcontract to other builders of their choosing to build a whole town and perhaps other areas.
